Children

Sweet Harper Rose Christmas 2016

“What was wonderful about childhood is that anything in it was a wonder. It was not merely a world full of miracles; it was a miraculous world.”
G.K. Chesterton

We were able to spend some time sweet Harper over Thanksgiving.  We had a blast running after her as she explored.  I was struck once again by why I love photographing kids...their unending sense of wonder!

My boys helped me at different times during our adventure.  In fact Joshua got the most authentic smiles and praise from Harper by pretending he was running into the door of the train station.  Well she is a part of our family and we're kind of known for our ability to make people laugh!

Silberzahn Family | Towson Maryland

It has been a joy photographing this family over the past few years. The kids have grown so much since last year and know what to expect from a session.  We had fun chasing the light and using a special Furby to make the kids laugh and keep things interesting.   This year we met at the Hampton Mansion just after the fall leaves fell.

Dungey Family Session | Baltimore

Most people that know Laurie know she has a smile that lights up a room.  Her welcoming personality is a treasure.  What I didn't know when Laurie contacted me for an extended family session was that her husband and her in laws are the same way.  This families love for one another is so evident.  I found myself telling them this over and over throughout the session.  Scroll through these pictures and see if they don't put a smile on your face!

Youngblood Family Session | Baltimore Maryland

I love it when clients become friends.  It has been fun getting to know the Youngbloods better since our session last fall.  We spent many days this summer talking at the pool while the kids swam.  Jennifer has such a warm, inviting personality that conversation flows easily (which is a blessing to me in my family of 5 boys)!   Jason is an avid runner (running 2x/day) and often travels for work so his running adventures are quite extensive.

They wanted to capture some of the city they call home in their session this year.  So we spent some time strolling the streets of Fells Point early one Sunday morning.
