I have worked with Sarah over the years, capturing Owen’s newborn and 1 year milestone sessions. Now her youngest is 1 so we met to capture Brody and his adventures with his big brother. We met one morning and explored the grounds of the Hampton Mansion National Historic Site together.

This family reminds me to love well and have fun in the process! Will is the Area Director for Young Life and Janis works behind the scenes to help Baltimore County Young Life run smoothly in addition to caring for their two adorable little boys. Wes and I have had the privilege of being led by Will as we serve as leaders for Young Life’s middle school ministry WyldLife.
I met Will and Janis and their boys at the Hampton National Historic Site in Towson on a beautiful spring evening. We had to reschedule once due to rain and chilly weather so we were thankful for the sun and warmer temperatures. I shot Griffin’s lifestyle newborn session over 2 1/2 years ago so it was time to update their family pictures!
It didn’t take long for the boys to realize that this evening was going to be an adventure. This is one of the things I love about lifestyle photography. I may direct and guide their play but ultimately I let kids be kids. And at a place like the Hampton National Historic Site there is plenty of room to explore. There are rock lined pathways, old stone buildings, lovely gardens, historic trees and plenty of benches to stop and rest.
I think the boys loved the lower garden behind the mansion the best. Running the stone lined pathways was so fun. Running free and rocks…what more could little boys want?! Enjoy this collection of images from our time together.

Montgomery Motherhood Session | Towson, Maryland {Baltimore Child Photographer}
Let me be the first to say I loved spending time with this mama and her kids! We had to reschedule a few times due to ice cold temperatures and snow but it was worth the wait! I have known Kelly since before these sweet kiddos were in her life. I was always captivated by her beautiful smile and fun personality. Her daughter, Charlotte greeted me at the door ready and excited for the session. She introduced me to her baby brother Teddy and even showed me her big girl room. Her personality is infectious as you'll see in the pictures. And Teddy is the sweetest little guy. I held him for a bit so I could capture some pictures of Kelly and Charlotte and let me just say...babies are the best. We started the session inside their home and then took a walk around the block at the end of the session. The weather was cool but the sun was shining and there were signs of spring all around.

Abram's Milestone Session | Western Maryland {Maryland Milestone Photographer}
Someone is just a little excited to celebrate his First Birthday this weekend! Milestone Sessions are a great way to capture your little one at a specific stage. We all know they change so quickly in those first few years. I like to allow the child time to explore and play for these sessions. This ensures that the images we capture are true to who they are at that specific slice in time. Abram was fun and very expressive as we played together. His mother Kasandra, did a phenomenal job of choosing their outfits. They brought out the rich warm tones of fall. She also brought this chair along that she was photographed in as a young child. This session was a gift from his grandparents. Enjoy this collection of images from my session with Abram and Kasandra.

Owen Turns One | Towson, Maryland {Baltimore Milestone Photographer}
It was a joy to meet Owen a couple of weeks ago to get a head start celebrating his first birthday! Remember this adorable little guy at 6 months? I love the opportunity to photograph a baby several times over their first year because they change so fast! We ended this photo session with a cake smash...I think it's safe to say he enjoyed his cake!
