This sometimes results in forward progress up the wall and sometimes it results in a fall. If they fall, the belayer (who has been watching the climber closely) secures the climber and prevents them from falling too far. As I reflected on this weeks scripture I thought about how often God plays that role in our lives. I read this in my devotional this morning... “The enthusiast fails forward! When you and I weaken and even fall forward, we are to remember that God is ultimately in control to use us for His end and His time and in His way.
